Verification of person identified as the account holder

Upon logging into the Client portal on Hyperwallet for the first time, you need to verify your identification by doing the following:

Upload a scanned photo from:

  • Passport
  • Identity card
  • Driving Licence

*The information on the documents needs to be clearly visible.

Please note that the information on your photo ID needs to match your profile information. For example: if your name or birth year on the photo ID does not match the information on the document, it can’t be validated.

Important: If you make any changes to your user profile, you will have to re-verify your photo ID. Related user functions will not be available until you do so.

Verification of the account holder’s address

  • Utility bill (e.g., gas, electric, water, cable, phone)
  • Financial statement
  • National ID
  • Government-issued documents (e.g., tax bills, balancing statements)

Full name, address, and document validity (dated within the last 12 months) must be clearly visible.

A generated login password will be automatically emailed to the user’s email address. Additionally, a separate email will be sent to the user containing the website URL, account ID and user ID.

Process time to verify your documents

If everything is correct, the validation takes 1 to 2 business days. Usually, the process will be completed in a few minutes. If Hyperwallet needs more information or documentation, you will receive an email with a request. Of course, the process will then take more time.
